Obama was there

to help storm victims

After the onslaught and destruction of “Superstorm Sandy” on the East Coast, President Obama didn’t hesitate in responding to the situation in the storm ridden areas of New Jersey and New York. He helped all of the East Coast that was destroyed, by mobilizing FEMA and all that he had within his power.

The president took himself off of the campaign trail trying to bring some sort of comfort to those areas and people that were in need. In my humble opinion, he was just being presidential, no more and no less. In my humble opinion, he wasn’t trying to make a political statement as some might think.

Listen, this country has had all kinds of destructive weather such as forest fires, floods and hurricanes. But this great country has had the fortitude to bounce back with the Grace of God! I am sure New Jersey Gov. Christie and other heads of the states effected appreciated the help that this sitting president brought forth.

Yes, there is still a lot to do, but we will be able to over come these obstacles by God’s mercy and begin to work more together. You know, sometime we sing that grand old song, “God Bless America.” But as I have asked before and I ask again, “How long will the God of Heaven continue to bless America?” Finally, how long did it take our leadership to reach and help those hit in the South by Katrina? Please think on this!
