Letter: Forget Cedar Point; just drive Cable Road

Traveling on Cable Road in Lima is a harrowing experience. First of all you have to dodge jacked up pickups with black smoke billowing out of their exhaust stacks or old Honda’s with three different colored doors and wired down trunk lids.Then there are terrible sounding car stereos blasting away through their blown-out speakers.

Then comes the the really scary stuff.

You approach the railroad crossing. No where can I remember such a scary ride even at Cedar Point. Now why don’t we get this fixed? Anyone can see it needs repair. I know that there is a big argument over who should pay for this. Get the “dang thing” fixed and argue later before someone damages their vehicle or worse yet has an accident.
