On Feb. 19, Ohio Gov. John R. Kasich covered the “State of the State” address at the Veterans Memorial Civic and Convention Center for the residents of Lima and Allen County to showcase the wonderful things about our community. Some $65,000 has been raised by business partners and they answered the call.
What a truly warm and benevolent event. The Lima News produced a special section for this stellar event. We saved it as we did for one done on World War II.
The lasting tribute will test the city forever and ever. This amazing accolade has been attributed by the outstanding workforce of the NW Central Ohio 30,000 battle-scarred workers.
