Biased against George Zimmerman
On July 21, I read Thomas J. Lucente Jr.ís column with great interest.
Like most of our nation I found the court case of George Zimmerman fascinating and tragic. I agree with Mr. Lucenteís opinion that Mr. Zimmerman should never have seen the inside of a court room. The entire incident was awful and only exasperated by his arrest.
I was also quite disappointed in The Lima News for publishing the 10 political cartoons on the opposite page. All 10 of the cartoons tore apart that man who was only trying to protect his neighborhood. I would have thought my local newspaper should have been unbiased and at least tried to be fair by showing at least one or two cartoons that didnít accuse him of being a racist.
He was found not guilty. How can you continue to harass him? Or at least try to show some fairness!
