crossed the line
Outrage is hardly what I feel at the lie that was an editorial cartoon in The Lima News on May 11th depicting the Republican Party holding women captive over abortion, contraception and rape. May I ask President Obama, Mrs. Clinton and the others what they were doing the night of September 11th of last year when Ambassador Stevens and 3 others were under attack. No wonder those men died. If they can’t be concerned with life in the womb, why should they be concerned with four lives over in Libya.
“We didn’t have enough time to take action.” After that first attack, personnel should have been in the air, especially with the previous warnings. Inaction after inaction after inaction. I’m sorry, but with all the indifference, military and state department, those 4 peoples’ blood is on your hands. With the ensuing cover-up now unfolding, it makes Richard Nixon and Co. look like pikers.
Back to the picture …No abortion rights. A woman may say her bodies’ her own, but not when, through her own actions, another life is created.
Seems to me that the pro-life movement cares more about women than they do. Birthright and pregnancy care centers, from the beginning of legalized abortion, have helped women in their crisis pregnancies. They help these women either get through their pregnancies and start their families or give their babies up for adoption and get post-partum care. (Have you heard of an abortionist give post care?)
