Event raises $1,336 for Alzheimer’s
On July 20, close to 80 women, and a few brave men, gathered at Apollo Career Center to participate in our 2nd Quarters for a Cure auction of this year. Together, they contributed $1,336 for the Alzheimer’s Association in Allen County.
On behalf of HCF and Burtons Ridge, Shawnee, Lima, Wapakoneta and Roselawn Manors, I would like to thank all the participants who helped make this event a success. Our generous prize sponsors included Office Max, E-Nails, Maria Sanko, Biggby Coffee, Nitza’s, Donatos, East of Chicago, Family Video, Regal Cinemas, Applebees, Golden Corral and Westgate Lanes. We had 22 participating vendors also contribute items to our auction, and the staff, administration and friends of our four manors chipped in to make the day successful.
Thanks to all your efforts, $1,336 has been contributed to the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. All those quarters, combined for a cause, will go a long way in helping to educate the residents of Allen County on this deadly disease.
