Why is Benghazi being ignored?

The Benghazi, Libya, attack was far more serious than the Watergate scandal in that four men died without requested government aid at Benghazi. The penalties of the Watergate scandal were the forced resignation of the sitting president and prison sentences imposed on the others involved.

What is happening about the Benghazi scandal? Nothing yet.

One of the spokespersons, inept in my judgment, involved in the explanation of “what happened during that attack” has now been tapped as Obama’s national security adviser, Susan Rice. Incredible, yet true.

Will Congress let this scandal be ignored in the light of the IRS and journalists’ phone tapping scandals? Are these scandals just the tip of the iceberg of what has been and is happening in our bureaucratic side of the government?
