I am wondering why the “researcher” who wrote the editorial “Planned Parenthood behind decline in teen births” failed to mention the part that abortion played in the decline of teen births. Is it is because abortion-as-birth-control is an inconvenient truth? It appears that the writer of this article is typical of today’s “journalists”.Reporting the news with their own personal (usually liberal) political slant. I read the CDC article on its website and I am surprised that the CDC report does not mention abortion as a reason affecting the decline of teen births. Could it be that the CDC also has a political agenda? Why not report the number of pregnancies that are ended by abortion? The report is incomplete without this information.A real journalist would search for the truth. This one just echoes what is posted on the CDC Website. Many Americans do not believe that abortion should be legal. I and many others believe that abortion is the legalized murder of innocent unborn children. The fact that this obviously liberal editorial was printed, gives it’s incomplete information credibility it does not deserve.Shame on The Lima News for printing such obviously liberal, sham journalism. Shame on the CDC for pretending to be a legitimate Government Agency. I am not a member of any religious organization or anti-abortion group. I am however an American and I believe that “life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness” extends to all Americans, including the unborn.— Steven L Burkholder, Lima
