U.S. shouldn’t fund
Here we go again!
The U.S. government wants to step in and play “world police” by getting involved in the Syrian civil war.
To start, they want to arm the rebel troops, and we’re not even sure if we are arming the good guys or the bad guys. Then what, if that is not enough to turn the tide? Put our soldiers on the ground with more loss of life for Americans? And all for what? Look at Iraq lately. It doesn’t appear to be much better than before we got involved.
I know the war has to be terrible for the people of Syria, and now they say the Syrian government is using gas on its own people. So many innocent men, women and children have died already.
But, does that mean that we have to get involved again and start funneling what will probably amount to millions of our tax dollars to another country that would just as soon shoot us in the back when its all over than thank us for our help?
Our money could be much better spent here in the United States with all the natural disasters this year alone. And don’t forget how many government programs have been cut to the bone. And yet we can go to the aid of another country that would never return the favor, just like all the others.
How do we make the president and Congress listen to us for a change?
Please stop the bleeding of OUR tax dollars.
