a hit in Grove
The Columbus Grove Alumni Association would like to thank all of those who made Alumni Weekend 2013 a success. The fun began on Friday night with an all-class cocktail party at the CG Pool. Managers Ashley Langhals and Ben Endicott did a fantastic job making sure that the space was party ready.
Saturday morning brought tours of the new building thanks to Mr. Nick Verhoff and members of the 2013-2014 student council and class officer ranks. Saturday night marked the annual Alumni Banquet, which served 100 more people than last year. The success of this evening was shared by several people including the Sons of the Legion, who cooked and served the meal; The American Legion Post for donating the use of the hall; Anna Bremer for her wonderful slide show of all of the class yearbooks; the members of each class who decorated their tables and/or spoke during the banquet and Dave Bremer for his technical assistance.
The Alumni Association officers are grateful to all of you who contributed to this eventand we are looking forward to celebrating Alumni Weekend 2014 with you next summer. If you would like to join in the fun, the next Alumni Association meeting will be held Aug. 20 at 7 p.m. in the high schoollLibrary.
