Elida: What will you

do for your children?

You have said or heard someone say “I would do anything for my child.” The two most important things we can give to our children are our unconditional love and the opportunity for a quality education.

Having overcrowded classrooms, old and outdated materials and technology, eliminating electives that can provide a springboard to a career and reduced staff is not providing an opportunity for a quality education. I am a graduate of Elida Local Schools as well as having children in the school system. I have spent time in my children’s classrooms and observed the amount of hard work and dedication the teachers provide to our children. Elida has so much to be proud of in the accomplishments of all the students. Each month I read the board of education meeting minutes and it is encouraging to read of all the success our students have.

Supporting this much needed levy is not only an investment in our children and our community, but an investment in our future. These children are our tomorrow.

Please go to the polls on May 7 and vote FOR Elida Local Schools. The need is real the time is now.

— Aundrea Fricke, Elida
