Hello! Can we

get a traffic light?

I happen to live on Bryn Mawr Avenue and right now it is 5:37 p.m. on a Friday. I am sitting in my home watching the traffic which is backed up from Reservoir Road to Lost Creek Boulevard.

Has anyone in Allen County, Bath Township or even the State of Ohio considered the need for a traffic light at the at the intersection of Bryn Mawr and Reservoir Road until this construction project is completed?

It is expected to have some back up of traffic at times, but it seems to me that when it is backed up the entire length of a street, that perhaps the powers that be should address traffic flow!

Someone indicated there is a gas leak at one of the construction sites today so traffic is being routed this way, but even with this going on, the traffic flow should have been addressed along with the re-routing of traffic. Traffic is backed up every day trying to turn from Bryn Mawr Avenue onto Reservoir Road.

In addition, there are stop signs at the intersection of Bryn Mawr Ave and Chevy Chase and the majority of this traffic doesn’t even stop at them, either north or southbound.

The next time you travel through our neighborhood, remember, we live here. Those stop signs are there for a reason. Does another child have to be struck by a car for people to understand?
