Crazy woman driver
hits dog, keeps going
This is to the woman who was speeding through Elida on North Greenlawn Avenue on Saturday morning, May 4:
You may try to tell yourself and others that you did not know you hit the big, yellow dog, but when you hit a big dog and toss him in the air, hit him again and then drag him 40 feet, I think you know you have hit him.
You never even stopped. You never tried to stop because your brake lights never came on.
What if you had hit a child and kept on going? You did not have the decency to stop. Think about the family of that dog with the two boys. You may think no one knows who you are, but your license plates were noted. Have you no shame? You could at the very least go and tell the family that you are sorry you did not stop, and that you are sorry you hit their dog. I hope that if you have pets, that no one does the same thing to your family. Also, slow down before you hit something or someone again. The speed limit is 25 not 45 through there.
