In contest of life, every teacher counts
Jill Ackerman needs to be more understanding of her job.
Tonya Jacobs had been at Lima Senior High School for five years before being shifted to North School.
Under Karol Oxley, she was hired and Oxley had high respect for Jacobs. She was told her job under Ackerman was being removed.
The teacher who held that job for eight years also was involved with the Titanic experiment. She was right there all the time. Why did Ackerman not do a thing to her?
Jacobs was new at North School and the other teachers should have been there to help her.
Jacobs is a good teacher and would never hurt anyone. She is so intent on helping all students succeed. Her love is strong and she would never hurt any child.
Why did the children put their hands in, if one was burned? It doesnít make sense. Yet, the other teacher stood by. She was not placed on leave.
Jacobs was only there about 14 weeks. New school, pushed out of LSH and placed in a new surrounding. What kind of teachers are there who would stand back and let this happen?
Jacobs hurts for the students hurt. At 11 years old, they have all of our prayers to recover. Our hearts ache for them and feel their pain; as they do.
Jacobsí son is in the Marines serving overseas. He is stunned and knows he canít come home to comfort his mom or the students. Yet, he called from Afghanistan to tell her he is praying for all.
Letís wake up and make Jill Ackerman march to the truth.
