Easier to blame Bush

than take responsibility

For the last four years, whenever the government has not been able to get the economy back on track, President Obama has blamed George W. Bush and his policies for their failures. If this is the case and everything George W. Bush did was so terrible, then I don’t understand why everyone is so worried about letting the Bush tax cuts expire at the end of the year, the so called “Fiscal Cliff”?

Everyone should be happy that we’re going back to the tax rates that we had during the glory years of the Bill Clinton administration. During the past decade I’ve heard many individuals express their ardor for the Clinton years, say how much better the monetary policies were back then, and how George W. Bush is the cause of our fiscal woes. To those who prophecies doom and gloom, I say nay. Let us embrace the Fiscal Cliff. Let us purge ourselves of the vile tax cuts of the Bush years and look with anticipation to the higher tax rates of the Bill Clinton years. Only by getting rid of that which was George W. Bush will all things government be made whole again.
