Keep tabloild journalism
away from murder coverage
I am appalled at The Lima News! The tragedy that happened to the Romes boys is sad enough, and everyone wants justice—but to print family stuff that has no bearing on this situation just adds more pain for them. I am not Lora the stepmother, but an aunt.
The newspaper does not need to print things to perpetuate speculation that may actually taint this investigation or impede justice being served. The authorities are not revealing everything or “tipping their hand” as they know how easy it is for unnecessary information to cause misleading and inflaming problems. Let them do their job! If you care anything about these boys—don’t make it harder for their families! What happened in the past is not relevant now…if you investigated before you printed you would know why it isn’t relevant…and I will not say anymore. Only that you don’t need to put spotlights in places for Nancy Grace type of media coverage and media trials. You may have already convinced people of the wrong person. Are you a credible news source or a libelous frivolous tabloid?
