Help needed to keep

Elida schools great

What do you want for the future? A school district that can provide a well-rounded education to students that will be competing for jobs all over the world? Elida Schools need a yes vote on both the renewal levy and the new money levy. After attending many board meetings and listening to the facts presented, if the levies fail, Elida is faced with cuts to extra curriculars, science teachers, foreign language teachers, half day kindergarten. Does this sound like things that a school can do without?

You need to vote for the levies based on the facts, not on some personal vendetta. The need is real: without the levies passing, Elida schools are in jeopardy of not being able to provide students with opportunities that they need to succeed in life.

We have a great school district with great teachers and great students that make a community proud. Le! tís keep it that way and vote for both the renewal and additional levy.

ó Lisa Kiel, Elida
