Three newsmen
deserve big thanks
Our family would like to say “thank you” to three individuals that made the Lima area aware of Brad’s battle against colon cancer.
First, there was the Saturday morning sports show with Matt Childress and Matt Metzger. They did a great interview with Brad about his fight. Then, Tom Harrison from The Lima News wrote an excellent article pertaining to Brad and his Warrior-Mode Mentality.
Watching Brad participate in all sports from elementary through college we were aware of his fighting spirit and the intense desire to compete and ultimately win. For everyone who has experienced cancer we know there aren’t quarters, halves, time-outs, as in sports. The fight against cancer, in all probability, will be fought for the rest of one’s life and one that must be met with a Warrior-Mode Mentality of courage and determination.
