President Barack Obama's re-election campaign seems to be more of a contradiction as the November election gets closer. The theme of his first election was “Change you can believe in,” and the country said, “OK, let's wait and see.”Since the beginning of the Obama presidency, the average price of gas has gone up. We have plenty of domestic oil undrilled. Or doesn't he want to upset the environmentalists who contribute to his campaign? Who pays for all the gas he uses in his daily comings and goings? I guess Obama feels comfortable living the lifestyle he leads because he doesn't have to see the bills, while the rest of us struggle to keep food on the table, a roof over our head and to pay the bills.Obama has said that, if families have to live within their means, government should have to, also. When is this going to happen? And there is Planned Parenthood. Every item of their agenda seems to get his signature. He rushed Obamacare through Congress with the promise that abortions will not be paid for with federal funds. Wonder of wonders, in February 2012, the Catholic Church was told it would have to pay for abortions and contraceptives. As a Catholic, this is the highest insult to my faith. Yet I hear no apologies, but Obama groveled to the Afghan government over the burning of Qurans. Life destroyed in abortion is far more precious, and, even though Obama refuses to acknowledge the Lord over life and death, he will have to face him. Any public official is a servant of God and the people, not elected for his own gain.
