The bomb threats that have been bombarding the Lima schools are really reinforcing the bad reputation the city schools already have. However, as a Lima Senior graduate who now attends the University of Cincinnati, I can say from personal experience that the staff of Lima schools, particularly Lima Senior, are phenomenal teachers and people. I can tell you the education I received from Lima Senior has helped me immensely and I owe it all to the teachers and administrators I had the pleasure to encounter. I'm sure all of the staff members at Lima Senior are wonderful, but the staff of the small school Multiple Intelligences helped me more than they know throughout my four years at Lima Senior. The teachers I had are so intelligent and so willing to help a student at any cost. I don't think I have ever met such a wonderful group of people throughout my whole life. These teachers not only helped me get the best education I could, but they also helped with any other problems I was having. The teachers and administration of Multiple Intelligences helped me when I was at my lowest and were so proud of me when I was at my highest. Just because Lima Senior has a bad reputation does not mean the students don't receive a valuable education or that the staff is helpless. Lima Senior is very capable of giving a high quality education and all credit should go to the teachers and administration. I am so proud to say I am a Lima Senior graduate, and I would like to thank the staff for absolutely everything they did for me.
