I just can't help expounding on the stupid, inane, pesky and irritating commercials on television.Take the medicine ads. (I wish someone would). They urge you to ask your doctor about their special brands. Never mind that you are paying your own physician for his knowledge.Never mind that you are told of dangerous side effects, after the sales pitch.Never mind that the cost of these medicines could be lowered by fewer ads on the air. And never mind that, in a possibly short time, some of these drugs will be taken off the market for safety's sake.Thank you so much, Food and Drug Administration. The lobbyists do one heck of a job. I cringe every time I see a fake pharmacist in his white jacket. So much for my gripe. Stay well and listen to your own doctor. As for the TV ads, that is one reason for the mute button.
