The violence has been on the rise in Lima/ Allen County.

There have been reports of shootings, firing of firearms and knifings in our community by Afro-Americans, Hispanics, Caucasians and others. What is going on? If we want to increase our living standards, let us stop the madness!

Listen, please think on this: Can we give back a life after it is taken? Can we heal those that are maimed by gunfire or knives?

If the answer to the foregoing questions is no, then let us stop the madness and violence and begin to obey the laws of the land (Romans Chapter 13).

You see, a life and a precious soul is a terrible thing to waste!

Instead of tearing down the fabric of our community, let us build up that fabric by being law-abiding citizens, for we have only one life to live (John 9:4).
