CHERIE LOTTLimaI would like to know how the state gets away with saying who does and who does not get the flu mist?I had an appointment for my daughter, at her pediatricianís office, to get this mist, instead of a flu shot, back on Nov. 12. She was denied because, the only mists that came in were the ones paid for by the government, not the ones paid for by private insurance. She was put on a waiting list. I called on Dec. 10 to see if they had come in yet. I was told that they are not going to come in. The only children who will be able to receive the mist are the ones the government will pay for.I work, pay my own bills and, needless to say, I help pay for these government kids to get their mists, yet my own daughter is not allowed. Something is wrong with this system when taxpaying people are treated like they donít matter. If anything, the flu mist should be distributed on a first come, first served basis.
