Lima News now
Lima Democrat
I am writing to inform you of what seems to me to be a very biased point of view toward the Democratic party. I seem to see many more favorable articles about the Dems than the Republicans, and an obvious leaning that way. For example, when Mitt Romney cancelled his visit to Lima in support of the hurricane victims on the east coast, you honored him with a two-inch column. When President Obama felt it was more important to continue his campaign trail than to work with the hurricane victims, you devoted an entire section of the newspaper to his visit. An entire section!
I always thought it was important for you to report all news in an unbiased, fact-only way. I am very disappointed that you are attempting to make and to influence, not report the news.
To paraphrase Mark Twain, “If you don’t read The Lima News, you’re uninformed. If you read The Lima News, you’re misinformed.”
