ELIDAMarie A. Morris, 88, died April 13, 2012, at Vancrest Healthcare Center of Delphos.She was born July 13, 1923, in Delphos to Albert and Mildred Miller Wreede, who preceded her in death. On Feb. 9, 1947, she married Ronald Dale Morris, who survives in Elida.Mrs. Morris was a homemaker. She was a member of New Creation Lutheran Church, Elida. She enjoyed camping, watching birds and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Survivors also include a son, Ronald (Dorothy) Morris Jr., of Elida; a daughter, Terrie (Richard) Baney, of Lake Wales, Fla.; three grandchildren, Jeremy (Abigail) Morris, of Powell, Brett (Kelly) Baney, of Okeechobee, Fla., and Andrew (Adina) Baney, of Winter Haven, Fla.; and four great-grandchildren, Owen and Nicholas Morris, and Aden and Drew Ann Baney.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Norris.Services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Harter and Schier Funeral Home, Delphos. The Rev. Sam Payne will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Elida.Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to services Wednesday at the funeral home.Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart and Cancer societies.
