LIMA — Ada Mae Roach, 69, died at 12:01 a.m. Oct. 25, 2012, at St. Rita’s Medical Center.



She was born April 2, 1943, in Griffin, Ga., to Jessie Marshall and Eleanor Cook. Her father preceded her in death and her mother, Eleanor Cook Morris, and stepfather, Howard Morris, also preceded her in death. On May 29, 1964, she married James Louis Roach, who died April 27, 2008.



Mrs. Roach retired from Continental Canning in Lima. She was a member of New Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church. She served on the Usher Board. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. She dedicated the majority of her time taking care and loving her family.



Survivors include six daughters, Tawana L. (Kelvin) Parker, of Columbus, Carmen R. Bell, of Lima, Latitia F. Roach, of Detroit, and Patricia Wilkerson, Diane (Henry) Sorrels and Faye Wilkerson, all of Lima; Three brothers, Robert Morris, of Lima, Leondrea (Vanessa) Marshall, of Hazelzist, Ill., and Keith (Barbara) Marshall, of Memphis, Tenn.; two sisters, Shirley (Reginald Culpepper) Hydemorris, of Dublin, Ga., and Barbara Jean Marshall, of Thompson, Ga.; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a godson, Quincy Morris.



She was preceded in death by a brother, James Morris; and a sister, Loretta Marshall.



Services will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday at New Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. C.M. Manley Sr. will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.



Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Jones-Clark Funeral Home, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m.
