LimaPatricia A. Ryan, 74, died at 6:13 p.m. May 7, 2012, at St. Rita's Medical Center.She was born Sept. 30, 1937, in Aurora, Ill. On July 23, 1955, she married James M. “Jim” Ryan, who survives in Lima.Mrs. Ryan was a 1955 graduate of St. Gerard High School, where she was the salutatorian. She was a member of St. Gerard Catholic Church, She loved spending time with her family and shopping.Survivors also include three sons, Randall J. (Karen) Ryan Sr., of Hamilton, and Michael D. (Barbara) Ryan and Robert P. (Randi) Ryan, both of Lima; two daughters, Teresa J. (Dean Wilson) Wood, of Lima, and Kathleen L. (Darrin) Sutherland, of Harrod; 11 grandchildren, Randall Ryan Jr., Amy Simkus, James P. Ryan, Jessica Gallagher, Tara Moloney, Adam Ryan, Jason Wood, Deron Wood, Brennon Ryan, Jaden Ryan and Daniel Sutherland; a sister, Barbara J. Roepke, of Lima; a sister-in-law, Patricia A. (Dean) Hawk, of Lima; and six great-grandchildren, Michaela Ryan, Rachel Ryan, Mara Ryan, Jonathan Simkus, Hayley Simkus and Logan Ryan.Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Gerard Catholic Church.
