Thomas Clay Hunter, 33, died Feb. 16, 2008, at his residence.
He was born Oct. 17, 1974, in Lima to Eli Thomas Hunter and Wilma D. Tullis Colley, who both survive in Lima.
Mr. Hunter had worked at Mid Bus, Bluffton. He was an Air Force veteran, serving in Operation Northern Watch in Saudi Arabia. He enjoyed billiards and fishing.
Survivors also include a son, Atreyu L. Hunter, of Lima; a daughter, Terra N. Hunter, of Lima; a brother, James W. Hunter, of Lima; three sisters, Catherine G. (Arnie) Focht, of Cairo, and Jodee R. Owsley and Christina M. "Tina" (Maurice M.) Miron, both of Lima; a stepmother, Velma McGill, of Lima; seven nephews, Michael, Christopher, Hunter, Kenneson, Isaac, Ethan and Zack; seven nieces, Stephanie, Karlene, Anita, Sarah, Chelsea, Venessa and Kiara; and several aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, William L. "Bill" Conley; his grandparents; and a niece, Christina Focht.
Services will begin at 3 p.m. Thursday at Chiles-Laman Funeral Homes, Shawnee Chapel, with military rites by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275. Pastor Jack Howell will officiate. Burial of the cremains will be at a later dead in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 1 p.m. until time of services Thursday at the funeral home.
