LIMA — Stephen Ray “Stevo” LeMar, 59, died at 10:25 a.m. July 1, 2013, at his residence, after a courageous eight year battle with cancer.
Steve was born Nov. 2, 1953, in Lima the son of Roger Ray and Joanne Beverly Boothby LeMar. His father is deceased and his mother survives.
Steve was employed at Whirlpool, Findlay, as a tool and die maker for 22 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post 96. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved going on family vacations, working on cars and riding his Harley.
Survivors also include two daughters, Stephanie (Chad) Fisher and Shelly (Steve) Collins; two stepsons, Eli (Tish) Ditto and Josh Ditto; a sister, Rogina LeMar; three brothers, Mark (Kelly) LeMar, Roger LeMar and Randy (Patti) LeMar; and 10 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, nine nieces and nephews and 10 great-nieces and -nephews. Steve was previously married to Judy Ann Lieb-Mumper.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roger LeMar; a sister, Cathy LeMar; his grandparents, Albert and Laura LeMar and Don and Sophie Boothby.
Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home.
