HarrodJames A. “Jim” Blue, 73, died at 7 a.m. April 22, 2012, at his residence.He was born April 5, 1939, in Lima to Charles and Lillian Brennaman Blue, who preceded him in death.Mr. Blue had been a machine maintenance repairman at General Dynamics. He was a giving person, who enjoyed friends and family. He loved working and enjoyed music. He was an Army veteran. He proudly served his country in the military and by working at General Dynamics.Survivors include a son, Adam Blue; five daughters, Stephanie Rumph, Taja Neal, Sandy Cross, of Lima, Lisa Fox and Krystal Blue; and 16 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters.He was preceded in death by a son, James A. Blue Jr.Services will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Pastor Roger Emerson will officiate. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum, with military rites by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275.Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.Memorial contributions may be made to St. Rose Catholic School, 523 N.
