Betty Jean “Nan” Harford, 84, passed away July 11, 2013, at Logan Acres.
She was born Nov. 24, 1928, in Lima to the late Melvin Bradford and Lily Armstrong Butturff.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles “Bud” Bradford.
On Dec. 23, 1945, in Lakeview, she married Raymond E. Harford, and he preceded her in death on April 21, 1992.
She is survived by a daughter, Becky (Dave) Tanger, of Bellefontaine; grandchildren, Amy (W.R.) Dickson, Mandy (Jesse) Cummins, Brianne (Phil) Flesher and Joey (Nickolette) Holder; great-grandchildren, Noah, Brayden, Maci, Talon and Peyton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Betty retired from Precision Custom Products, where she worked in quality control. She then went to work with AVI Vending, until retiring again in 2003. She enjoyed gardening, doing crossword puzzles and all pets and animals. She especially enjoyed her family and hanging out with the grandkids.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at Smith-Eichholtz Funeral Home, Lakeview. Pastor Lynn Mercer will officiate. Burial will be in Willow Branch Cemetery, Waynesfield.
Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
