LimaRowena Maud Anderson, 85, died at 11 a.m. March 13, 2012, at Lima Convalescent Home.She was born Jan. 2, 1927, in Putnam County to William Waldo and Mae Pitsenbarger Evans, who preceded her in death. She married Albert Anderson, who preceded her in death.Mrs. Anderson retired in 1989 from housekeeping at Lima Memorial Hospital. She was a 1947 graduated of Gomer High School, Gomer. She was a member of Gomer United Church of Christ and had taught Sunday school at Gomer Presbyterian Church.Survivors include a brother, D. LaMar Evans, of Elida; several nephews and nieces; and two sisters-in-law, Ruth Evans and Agnes Evans.She was preceded in death by three brothers, William Willard, Darl and Lavern Evans; a sister, Clara Juan Kaufman; and two sisters-in-law, Shirley Evans and Margie Evans. There will be no public services or visitation. A private burial will be held at a later date in Pike Run Cemetery, Gomer.Memorial contributions may be made to Gomer United church of Christ for maintenance to their organ or St. Rita's Hospice.Condolences may be expressed at chamberlainhuckeriede.com.Arrangements are by Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
