CONTINENTAL — Martha Bibler, 93, of Continental, died 6:05 a.m. Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Defiance Inpatient Hospice.
She was born January 22, 1920 in Cloverdale to the late Joseph and Thresia (Becker) Brinkman. On November 4, 1938, she married Lee Bibler and he died December 12, 1971.
Surviving are 3 grandchildren: Jodi (Dave) May of Caney, KS, Kelly (Scott) Sarka of Cloverdale and Curt (Sarah) Bibler of Continental; 5 great-grandchildren: Brianna Sarka, Christina Sarka, Kaytlin Bibler, Noah Bibler and Caleb Bibler; a daughter-in-law, Bertha Bibler of Continental; numerous caring nieces and nephews; and a very special nephew Darwin (Dottie) Henry of Continental.
She was preceded in death by a son Rollie Bibler; 2 infant children; 8 sisters and 4 brothers.
Martha was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Continental.
A Mass of Christian burial will begin 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Continental with Fr. Mark Hoying officiating. Burial will follow in Monroe Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental and one hour prior to the mass Tuesday at the church.
