CRIDERSVILLE — Jerry L. Clum, Sr. age 69 of Cridersville, died Saturday, November 10, 2012 at his residence.
He was born March 22, 1943 in Lima, Ohio. He is the son of the late Ross Sidney and Dorothy Maxine Boughan Clum. On June 27, 1964 he married Carol Bennington, who survives in Cridersville.
Mr. Clum was a retired salesman with Clum International Sales, Inc. He was a 32nd degree Mason, and a member of the Free and Accepted Masons, Lima Lodge #205. He loved racing, NASCAR, and watching bull riding.
He is also survived by 3 sons – Jerry L. Clum, Jr. of Westerville, OH; Bryan A. Clum of Lewis Center, OH; Chad M. (Elizabeth) Clum of Sylvania, OH; 8 grandchildren – Heather Clum, Sky Stoodt, Trey Clum, Maxine Clum, Saria Clum, Madeline Clum, Ashton Clum, and Quinn Clum; a sister – Peggy (Wally) Kincaid of Lima; mother and father-in-law – Keith and Frances Bennington of Lima; a brother-in-law Steve (Brenda) Bennington of Woodville, OH; a sister-in-law – Betty Ferris of Melbourne, FL; several nieces and nephews and his dog “Oreo.” His autobiography can be read on line at www.JerryLClumsr.com.
Funeral services will begin 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
A masonic memorial services will be held 8:00 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
