LimaJune E. Miller, 93, of Fort Wayne, Ind., formerly of Lima, died at 11:20 a.m. May 24, 2012, at Lutheran Life Villages, Fort Wayne, Ind. She was born April 27, 1919, in Lima to Harry and O’Dessa Faye Mertz, who preceded her in death. In 1938, she married Gerald Miller, who died in 1999.Mrs. Miller was a homemaker. She was a member of Garden City Christian Union Church, Lima. During her years at Lutheran Life Villages, she was known for her smile which brightened the day of everyone she met. She found joy in the daily chapel services.Survivors include three daughters, Char (Steve) Binkley, of Fort Wayne, Ind., Judy (Ken) Montague, of Carrollton, Ky., and Becky (Joe) Jimenez, of Shorewood, Ill.; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy Fruchey, of Lima.She was preceded in death by three brothers, Harold, Roy and Jim Mertz; two sisters, Margaret Graham and Betty Mertz; and a great-granddaughter, Lilliana Merritt.Private graveside services will be held in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima.Memorial contributions may be made to WBCL Radio, 1115 W.
