LIMA — Mark A. Wilson, 50, died Dec. 27, 2012, at his residence.
He was born July 7, 1962, in Toledo to Hugh A. and Delores “Petey” Martin Wilson. He was married June 22, 2007, to Teresa J. Parker, who survives in Lima.
Mr. Wilson was a 1980 graduate of Lima Senior High School. He was an avid magician, enjoyed writing and was a fan of the '80s hair bands. His greatest love was his wife, children and grandchildren. He was a member of Union Missionary Chapel Church and attended Bluelick Bible Church “RU.”
Survivors also include three daughters, Kelly J. Wilson, of Tiffin, Grace H. Wilson, of Lima, and Heather J. Thomas, of Fort Wayne, Ind.; four sons, Jared K. Wilson, of Lima, Christian M. Wilson, of Lima, John M. (Angela) Thomas II, of Lima, and Austin C. Black, of Lima; 13 grandchildren; and two brothers, John (Kellie) Hartzog, of Lima, and Gerald Hartzog, of Toledo.
He was preceded in death by in-laws William B. and Naomi Weaver Parker.
Services will begin at 7 p.m. Monday at Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services, Eastside Chapel. Pastor Scott Moreland and Pastor Mark Bayliff will officiate.
Friends may call from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
