Margaret Mary Clementz Dickman, 88, of Cridersville and formerly of Lima; St. Louis, Mich.; and Ottawa, died at 2:42 a.m. Feb. 12, 2012, at St. Rita’s Medical Center.

She was born July 2, 1923, in Kalida, to Frank and Mary Miller Wehri, who preceded her in death. On July 31, 1946, she married Eugene Clementz, who died Jan. 23, 1985. On Dec. 6, 1986, she married Ferd Dickman, who died May 18, 1992. On Dec. 5, 2004, she married Roman Eickholt Sr., who survives in Cridersville.

Mrs. Dickman was a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Lima for more than 40 years. She belonged to the church’s Altar Rosary Society and volunteered at St. Vincent DePaul. She was a former member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Ottawa and St. Mary Catholic Church in Alma, Mich. She was an avid Perry High School football fan from 1967 to 1974. She was an amazing gardener of flowers and produce, baker of angel food cakes, breads and pies. She loved traveling to sunny Florida, Texas and Mexico. She enjoyed camping and fishing at the local state parks and visits from her grandchildren.

Survivors include seven sons, James (Karen) Clementz and George (Melinda) Clementz, both of Cridersville, Frank (Cathy) Clementz, of Spencerville, Ronald (Elizabeth) Clementz, of Lima, Robert Clementz, of Rochester, Mich., Vernon Clementz, of Monroe, Mich., and Alan (Terri) Clementz, of New Boston, Mich.; four daughters, Margene (Ronald) Craft, of St. Marys, Mary (Robert) McBeth, of Cridersville, Julie Clementz, of Wapakoneta, and Carol (Clyde) Verhoff, of Fort Loramie; a daughter-in-law, Patricia Clementz, of Columbus; seven stepsons, William (Mary) Dickman, Richard (Lorna) Dickman and Al (Becky) Dickman, all of St. Louis, Mich., Roman (Pat) Eickholt, of Continental, Robert (Donna) Eickholt and Terry (Stacy) Eickholt, both of Ottoville, and Alan Eickholt, of Ayersville; eight stepdaughters, Mary Jo (Ivan) Pankhurst, Joyce White, Marilyn (Lee) Trevino and Janice Dickman, all of St. Louis, Mich., Mary (Ken) Doseck, of Upper Sandusky, Bonnie (Bill) Beining and Leah (Dan) Ditto, both of Ottoville, and Lisa (Albert) Bilimek, of Cloverdale; 33 grandchildren; 35 stepgrandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; 26 stepgreat-grandchildren; a brother, Hubert (Joyce) Wehri, of Kalida; five sisters, Rose Mary Clementz, of Kalida, Lucille Schroeder, of Glandorf, Agnes Ulm, of Delphos, Rita Jean (Norbert) Boecker, of Ottoville, and Joan (Dick) Siemet, of Ottawa; a brother-in-law, Robert Kaple, of Ottoville; two sisters-in-law, Velma Wehri, of Delphos, and Delores Wehri, of Kalida.

She was preceded in death by a son, Lawrence Clementz; a daughter and son-in-law, Sharon (Phillip) Fry; two brothers, Gilbert Wehri and Cletes Wehri; and three sisters, Louella Wehri, Leona Youngpeter and Mary Ann Kaple.

A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Lima. The Rev. David M. Ross will officiate. Burial will follow in Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today and 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville, where a recitation of the rosary will begin at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
