CAIRO — William A. "Bill" Reinsel, 76, of Ocala, Fla., formerly from Cairo, died Aug. 11, 2012, at Legacy Hospice House, Ocala, Fla.
He was born April 26, 1936, in Lima to James Edward and Clinta A. Schanzlin Reinsel, who preceded him in death. His first wife, G. Cooka Reinsel, preceded him in death. His wife, Donna Mae Reinsel, survives in Ocala, Fla.
Mr. Reinsel was an Army veteran, serving six years as a truck driver. He continued to drive trucks for 32 years as owner/operator of Reinsel Trucking and as a driver for Otis Wright Trucking. He had nearly 4 million miles of over-the-road trucking. He was co-owner of Flips Pizza and was affectionately known as the world’s oldest pizza delivery driver. He was an avid sports fan of Bath schools and The Ohio State University, as well as being a lover of history, politics and physical fitness.
Survivors also include a daughter, Camille N. Miller, of Ottawa; three sons, James B. (Analisa) Reinsel, of Ottawa, Curt C. Reinsel, of Denora, Pa., and Bodine W. Reinsel, of Columbus; a stepson, Ryan L. (Sherry) Jones, of Columbus; a stepdaughter, Renee L. (James) Ting, of Mascoutah, Ill.; a brother, Tom (Jan) Reinsel; five grandchildren, Sigourney McKeen, Alexandria Miller, Kyle Jones, Kevin Jones and Aubrey Ting; and a great-grandchild, Xandra McKeen.
Graveside services will begin at 11 a.m. Aug. 25 in Cairo East Cemetery.
