BLUFFTON


Dorothy E. Lloyd, 98, died at 4:40 a.m. at Willow Ridge, Bluffton.


She was born Dec. 15, 1914, in Findlay to the late Charles and Merrine Montgomery Lloyd.


Dorothy retired from Bluffton Community Hospital in 1982, and had also worked at Boss Manufacturing Co., Bluffton, for 25 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Bluffton, Lima YWCA and Bluffton Senior Citizens Center. Dorothy was an avid bowler in Lima, Bluffton and Findlay. She was also a volunteer for the Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program (OHSIIP). She was a 1932 graduate of Bluffton High School and attended Lima Business College.


Survivors include a brother, John Lloyd, of North Royalton; two nephews, Charles (Claudia) Lloyd, of North Royalton, and Jeff (Cathy) Lloyd, of Jamestown, N.C.; a niece, Lora (Don) Lawrence, of Findlay; and friends, Sharon and William Locke, of Bluffton.


Services will begin at 2 p.m. Monday at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton. Pastor Bryant Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Bluffton.


Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.


Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church or Bluffton Senior Center.
