Michael A. Manns, 58, died at 9:19 p.m. Monday at Lima Memorial Health System.



He was born Oct. 12, 1951, in Lima, to Karew and Goldie Howard Manns, who preceded him in death.



Mr. Manns retired from Rudolph Foods in Westminster where he worked for 27 years. He was a member of Believers Church of New Beginnings and a former member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aeries 370 in Lima.



Survivors include a son, Trevis (Nicole) Manns, of Lima; seven brothers, Lee (Loretta) Manns of Mesa, Ariz., Hank (Lenny) Manns, of Aurora, Colo., Emmett (Linda) Manns, of Cherry Tree, Penn., Charles (Nancy) Manns, of Chandler, Ariz., Karew (Marilyn) Manns Jr., of Kenton, Paul (Lisa) Manns, of Kenton, and George Manns, of Sarasota, Fla.; four sisters, Alma (Dave) McPheron, of Spencerville, Tressie Jurado, of Santa Ana, Calif., Carolyn (John) MacKay, of Cypress, Calif., and Zelma (Kirk) Shepherd, of Alger.



He was preceded in death by a brother, Whitley Manns.



Services will begin at 1 p.m. Friday at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home. The Rev. Dean Shrider will officiate. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery.



Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and noon to 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
