BLUFFTON — Marcia J. Forbes, 75, died July 9, 2013, at her residence.
She was born March 4, 1936, in Ashley, Ind., to the late Russell and Kathren Bartels Wiler. On Aug. 10, 1957, she married Arthur “A.J.” Forbes, and he died June 4, 2008.
Marcia had been a bookkeeper for Lincoln Life and Klink Trucking. She was a member of the Ashley-Hudson Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed reading, playing cards with family and friends, bird watching, squirrel watching, cooking and Indiana University basketball games. She was a 1956 graduate of Ashley High School.
Survivors include two daughters, Teri Jo Forbes, of Garrett, Ind., and Tami Forbes, of Bluffton; two sons, Bill (Delores) Forbes, of Kendallville, Ind., and Scott (Beth) Forbes, of Sturgis, Mich.; five granddaughters, Katie (Brandon) Ritchie, Lauren Forbes, Terra Pueschel, Trisha Caudill and Trina Bauman; eight great-grandchildren, Addisyn and Kamdyn Ritchie, Tyler and Madison Ater, Brittany and Sierra Bauman, Tanner Nash, and Skye Caudill; and a sister, Berdena Norris, of Fort Wayne, Ind.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Russell Wiler Jr., Charles Wiler, Duane Wiler and Lawrence Wiler; and three sisters, Madlyn Fought, Evelyn Fought and Roberta Whittig.
Graveside services will be held at a later date.
Friends and family may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton.
