DelphosLaurietta M. Kohorst, 86, died at 2:30 p.m. April 24, 2012, at St. Rita's Medical Center.She was born July 30, 1925, in Van Wert County to Nathaniel and Eva Nora Syler Diltz, who preceded her in death. On April 27, 1942, she married Harold Kohorst, who died Aug. 2, 1997.Mrs. Kohorst was a homemaker. She attended Delphos Wesleyan Church.Survivors include two sons, Gerald (Inice) Kohorst, of Mendon, and Tommy (Barbara) Kohorst, of Delphos; two daughters, Bonnie (James) Fuerst, of Columbus Grove, and Cora (Rodger) Saum, of Delphos; five sisters-in-law, Ruth Kemper, Marge Kohorst, Ethel Bridgemen, Dorothy Kohorst and Dorothy Diltz Kohler; and 11 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by four brothers, Russell, Ira, Gerald and Ellis Diltz; and eight sisters, Blanch Bowers, Eunice Good, Mary Esther Diltz, Beulah Morris, Velma Teman, Luella Teman, Anna Belle Claypool and Irma Martin; and a grandson.Services will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Harter & Schier Funeral Home, Delphos. The Rev. David Howell will officiate. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Delphos.Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.Memorial contributions may be made to Delphos Wesleyan Church.
