WapakonetaMurlin George Doseck, 78, died at 10:48 p.m. May 28, 2012, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.He was born April 26, 1934, near Minster to Christopher and Julianna Behr Doseck, who preceded him in death. On July 23, 1960, he married Marilyn S. Debell, who survives.Mr. Murlin retired in 1994 from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., St. Marys, after 30 years of service. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in France. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wapakoneta. His other memberships included the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie 691, Wapakoneta, and the Senior Citizen Center, Sidney. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, but most especially shooting pool.Survivors also include a daughter, Brenda K. (Tony) Zaborowicz, Wapakoneta; three grandchildren, Bryan (Kelly) Wheeler, Jessica (Jonathon) Lambert, and Robert Wheeler; three great-grandchildren, Madison K. Wheeler, Azia K. and Noah W. Lambert; a son-in-law, Ed (Bonnie) Sparks of Marysville; and seven siblings, Sam (Henrietta) Doseck of Fort Loramie, Donald (Agnes) Doseck, of Botkins, Dorothy (Gilbert) Braun, of Sidney, Mary (David Edwards) Cartwright, of Sidney, Wilbur (Linda) Doseck, of Wapakoneta, Fred (Connie) Doseck, of Clearwater, Fla., and Mike (Carla) Doseck, of Botkins.He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tina Marie Doseck Sparks; and a brother, Robert Doseck.A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. The Rev. Patrick Sloneker will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery, with military rites by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8445 in Wapakoneta.Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home.Memorial contributions may be directed to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.Condolences may be expressed at bayliffandeleyfh.com.
