DONALD H. TRENTMAN, 66, died at 12:11 a.m. Feb. 19, 2005, at Knapp Medical Center, Weslaco, Texas.
He was born March 24, 1938, in Delphos to Eugene and Edna Pohlman Trentman, who preceded him in death. On May 4, 1957, he married Darlene Young, who survives in Kalida.
Mr. Trentman retired as a machine operator for Tower Manufacturing, Bluffton. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Kalida. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Kalida, and Fan Clan and Sunny Brook camping clubs. He loved bowling, playing bean-bag baseball and bicycle riding.
Survivors include a son, Greg (Elaine) Trentman of Kalida; a daughter, Terrie (Brian) Bidlack of Delphos; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Irvin (Judy) Trentman of Delphos and Paul (Joyce) Trentman of Glandorf.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Trentman.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Michael Catholic Church, Kalida. Father Scott Kramer will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Love Funeral Home, Ottawa, where a Scripture service will be held at 3 p.m. and a K. of C. rosary service at 7 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Masses, Kalida Knights of Columbus or the charity of the donor's choice.
