Sue A. Fox



Sue A. Fox, 72, went to be with the Lord at 11:50 a.m. Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center, Van Wert.



She was born Oct. 13, 1940, in Dayton, the daughter of James and Martha Kipker Williams. Her mother survives in Land O’Lakes, Fla., and her father is deceased.



Sue graduated from Olivet Nazarene University, Kankakee, Ill., in May 1962. On Aug. 18, 1962, she married The Rev. Larry Fox, and he survives in Wapakoneta. She was actively involved with him in his pastoral ministry for 50 years.



Survivors also include three children, Susan (William) Walter, of Lima, Jayma (Daniel) Dodds, of Anna, and Stephen (Darci) Fox, of Belle Center; five grandchildren, Jacob, Isaac and Luke Dodds, and Marina and Avery Fox; and three brothers, James (Vicki) Williams,of Pendleton, Ind., Ray Williams, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Lon (Sue) Williams, of Land O’Lakes, Fla.



Sue was the administrative coordinator for the Northwestern Ohio District Church of the Nazarene, St. Marys. She served on the board of trustees at Mount Vernon Nazarene University since January 2000. She had been actively involved in church missions since her youth. She served 27 years as the district Nazarene Missions International (NMI) president and on the General Church NMI council for eight years. In honor of her service and passion for others, the Fox Library and Research Center was built in 2007 on the campus of Asia Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary in Manila, Philippines. She was a member of the Wapakoneta Church of the Nazarene.



Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Nazarene District Center, 272 Jack Oak Point Road, St. Marys. The Rev. Geoffrey Kunselman will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Wapakoneta.



The family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday at Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, state Route 501, Wapakoneta, and one hour prior to the service Thursday at the Nazarene District Center.
