BlufftonChristopher Lee “Chunk” Garrett, 33, died at 9:30 a.m. April 29, 2012, in Lima.He was born Oct. 29, 1978, in Lima to Paul H. and Sandra K. Adkins Garrett. His father and his fiancée, Janice Stubbs, survives in Lima. His mother preceded him in death. He was engaged to Danielle Woodruff, who survives in Bluffton.Mr. Garrett had been a laborer at Allen County Pallet. He attended, on occasion, Deliverance Tabernacle Church. He loved hunting and boxing at the Lima Boxing Club.Survivors also include four daughters, Kayla O'Dell, of Lima, Maliegha Goodin, of McGuffey, Alyvia Garrett, of Lima, and Josie Woodruff, of Bluffton; three brothers, John (Terri) Gilroy, of Dayton, and Scott Gilroy and Paul J. Garrett, both of Lima; and a sister, Melissa Mosley, of Delphos.Services will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Eastside Chapel. The Rev. David Neace will officiate. Burial will be in Union Township Cemetery, Kalida.Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.Condolences may be expressed at chiles-lamanfh.com.
