Jerry Lee Parker

Jerry Lee Parker, 72, passed away May 8, 2013, at his residence.

Mr. Parker was born in West Newton, on June 25, 1940, to the late Harry and Gladyes McClung Parker.

He retired from Super Foods Inc., Bellefontaine, and had been employed by the Wapakoneta School System. He moved to Georgia in 2001. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Donalsonville, Ga. He took care of Colquitt Cemetery and enjoyed his work there. He loved his little dog, Isabell. He always loved helping people in any way that he could. He really enjoyed spending time with his little great-grandson, Brayden Inlow. He felt especially blessed that his granddaughter, Harmony, named her little boy after him, Owen Parker Sunday. In 1978, he married, Rita Prater Parker.

He is survived by his wife Rita; nine daughters, daughters, Tammy Berry, Kathi Brown, Della Kiser, Terrie Chilcoat, Bonnie Sunday, Becky Koeper and Susan Debell, all of Ohio, and Elizabeth Stalnaker and Laura Beebe, of Georgia; a son, Terry Parker, of Ohio; 20 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ann Johnson and Jerilou Young, both of Ohio; and two brothers, Russle Parker and Gene Watts, both of Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Gladyes McClung Parker, asister and a grandson.

Memorial service were held Friday in Donalsonville, Ga.
