Nancy Sue Walker

Nancy Sue Walker, 63, passed away Jan. 4, 2013, at the Beckett House, New Concord.

She was born Jan. 20, 1949, in Bluffton, the daughter of the late Robert Runser and Maxine “Pat” Patterson Runser.

Mrs. Walker was an owner and operator of Hillview Acres Campground, along with her husband John. She was a 1967 graduate of Ada High School, who loved cooking, fishing and wild birds.

She is survived by her husband John Henry Walker, of Cambridge; a stepdaughter, Rebecca (Lucas) Hilleary, of Noblesville, Ind.; a sister, JoAnn (Ed) Simmons, of Ada; a brother, Robert (Linda) Runser, of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and three grandchildren, Sebastian, Isaac and Meagan Hilleary.

In keeping with Nancy’s wishes cremation has taken place and a time of remembrance will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Community Health Professionals, 4392 state Route 235, Ada.
