Donald O. Goldsmith

Donald O. Goldsmith, 81, passed away on May 2, 2013, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.

He was born May 12, 1931, in Allen County to Edward V. and Reva L. Cook Goldsmith, who preceded him in death. On June 30, 1956, he married Barbara E. Rose, and she survives in Carey.

Donald retired from Marathon Electric, Lima, where he worked as a generator connector and a winder. He was a member of Abundant Life Assembly of God, Kenton.

Also surviving are a son, James E. (Lori) Goldsmith, of Kenton; three daughters, Debra P. (Dennis) Snyder, of Waynesfield, Susan D. (Robert) Hunsaker, of Carey, and Malea J. (Eric) Osborn, of St. Johnís, Fla.; 10 grandchildren, Daran Snyder, Derek Snyder, Joe (Heidi) Hunsaker, Justin (Brandy) Hunsaker, Zac (Michelle) Goldsmith, Jasmin (Eric) Risner, Wes Goldsmith, Ali Goldsmith, Morgan Osborn and McKenna Osborn; and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Goldsmith; and a sister, Doris Venezia.

Funeral services will begin at 4 p.m. Sunday at Abundant Life Assembly of God, 1010 East Franklin St., Kenton. Pastor James E. Goldsmith will officiate.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday at Abundant Life Assembly of God, Kenton.
