Candace M. ‚??Candy‚?Ě Newland



Candace M. ‚??Candy‚?Ě Newland, 41, left us to be with the Lord at 5:10 p.m. Easter Sunday March 31, 2013, at Lima Memorial Health System.



She was born April 20, 1971, in Lima, the daughter of Arnold R. III and Charoletteann Howland Tippie. Her mother and stepfather, Robert Moye, survive in Waynesfield, and her father is deceased. On Feb. 16, 1994, she married Scott A. Newland Sr., and he survives.



Other survivors include three children, Asia, Austin and Scott Jr., Newland, all at home; a grandson, Gabriel Newland; stepmother, Rebecca (James) Copus, of Wapakoneta; siblings, Angelia (Christopher) Zeller, of Waynesfield, Sunnydawn Tippie, of Maumee, Alexandria Crawford, of Waynesfield, and Zachariah Tippie and Jeremiah Tippie, both of Wapakoneta; a stepbrother, Robert A. Moye, of Ottawa; and a stepsister, Michelle Edgecomb, of Cridersville.



She was preceded in death by two brothers, Aaron Tippie and Arnold R. Tippie IV.



Candy was a dedicated employee at Rudolph Foods, Westminster, the past 12 years. She was a member of the Evening Light Tabernacle, Wapakoneta. She enjoyed crocheting, but her life revolved around worshiping the Lord and spending time with her family especially her children and grandson.



Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, state Route 501, Wapakoneta. The Rev. David Tippie will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery, near Uniopolis.



The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.



Memorial contributions may be directed to a fund established for her children‚??s education or the Evening Light Tabernacle.
